The Japanese art of Shibori is a technique similar to tie dyeing, but involves using thread instead of actually tying the fabric. Probably our softest fleece we make, the Rambler Fleece is a cozy, well-constructed hoodie with lower hand warmer zip pockets. This one is custom Shibori dyed, so although they’ll all be very similar to the one pictured, no two will be exactly alike.

The Hokkaido Tiger Club draws inspiration from the iconic Souvenir Jacket, or Sukajan, popularized post-WWII by American GI’s looking to bring something home to represent their time spent overseas. Like any culturally significant artifact, the Sukajan, and the intricate embroideries it brought with it, quickly became a fashion statement the world over, and served as a symbol of rebellion in the 60’s youth.
